BAS CUVIER

Blue circuit - 26 Blocs

This is THE most famous area for bouldering in Fontainebleau - if not the whole world. It is a huge area with many hundreds of problems. The main section of Bas Cuvier is within a few seconds of the car park - but unfortunately the main road goes straight by and is almost a motorway. The noise makes it one of the noisiest outcrops in the world too. For our book we have chosen a quiet circuit that rambles up the hill and away from the crowds. It is nice and quiet and not intimidating or polished. It's one of those circuits that is a very comfortable length, and with lots of problems that will defeat you onsight. The highballs are not bad, and announce themselves.
