The area covered in the guidebook doesn't really have a specific name because it falls between two national parks - of Mont Ventoux in the Vaucluse and Baronnies in the Drome region. Because of this split, different tourist bureaus and climbing federations operate differently within each local area.

GETTING THERE & CLIFFS - The airports of Nimes and Marseille are very handy, plus the fast Autoroute that runs from Lyon to Marseille. The main map illustrates the location for all the major groups of cliffs, just click on any of the names on the left to see a photo and description of the cliff.
